Not just specialised pieces of electrical equipment require routine testing. Everyday appliances such as:- PC's, faxes, photocopiers, lamps, fans, heaters, mobile phone chargers, kettles, toasters, fridge-freezers, hand drills and power-tools require inspection and testing.

All our engineers are qualified to City & Guilds standard, using the latest computerised PAT testing equipment.

Our Portable Appliance Testing prices are given on a "price per asset" basis. You get one price that includes minor repairs i.e. replacement of incorrect rated fuses, re-wiring or replacement of 13amp plug tops etc. NO HIDDEN EXTRA'S.
Repairs/Free fuse replacement
Minor faults found during inspection and test of appliances would be repaired as appropriate.
Dangerous faults or faults which cannot be repaired would result in the appliance being failed and labelled appropriately and your staff being notified.
Our prices includes replacement of damaged fuse or incorrectly rated fuse, replacement of damaged 13A plug top, re-wiring of a 13A plug.
Reports & Certification
During testing all appliances are issued with a unique asset number. After inspection & testing has been carried out, a pass or fail label will be applied to the asset, which will then be dated & signed.
On completion of testing a comprehensive room-by-room asset register is supplied. Also included on cd rom for storage, actual test measurements taken on all appliances (operation and earth leakage on IT equipment).
